Inspired by Pinball Machines….
The existing house floor plan did not flow well and communicate with the outside spaces. This is a pretty common issue I deal with. In the new paradigm, the Kitchen is the center point of the house and it’s all about entertaining. The Kitchen island is a real active pinball game board.
The rooms don’t have to be big but should flow to make the culmulative areas feel bigger. We also created a new master bedroom wing with new master bath and closet. A small outside zen deck space was created off the master area away from the public spaces. Frosted glass barn doors are used to relight interior core spaces. The LED lights in the Kitchen/ Dining area can change color. Pretty fun.
